System integrations & workflow automation.
Reduce repeated data entry and make handoffs easier to follow. ArcticTech connects business applications and designs automation around data ownership, approvals and the exceptions people need to manage.

The starting point
When the work falls between applications
An integration moves information between systems. A workflow coordinates the work around it: who approves, when the next step happens and what to do if something fails. Both need a clear business owner.
Start with a recurring handoff, such as a customer moving from CRM to ERP or a request waiting for approval. We help define the rules before choosing an API, file exchange, cloud integration or Power Automate flow.
How we help
The work around the platform.
- Application & data connections
Review supported interfaces between ERP, CRM, portals and external applications. Define record matching, field mappings, direction and update timing.
- Approvals & process automation
Design routing, notifications and human approval steps around the agreed process. Make the status and responsibility for each handoff understandable.
- Exceptions & operational ownership
Plan retries, duplicate prevention, error reporting and reconciliation. Decide who investigates failed transactions and how a recovered process resumes safely.
The approach
Build around the handoff, including failure
Trace the process
Map the event, source records, destination and the people responsible for the result.
Agree the contract
Define mappings, identifiers, validation, permissions and the expected timing or volume.
Test the exceptions
Exercise missing data, duplicate requests, unavailable systems and retry scenarios as well as successful transactions.
Plan the operation
Set out monitoring, support ownership and the changes that should trigger another integration review.
Plan with the right information.
What shapes scope & cost
Interface availability, authentication, data quality, transaction volume, timing requirements and exception complexity drive effort. Supported connectors and licensing must be checked for the systems in scope.
Bring to the first conversation
- Systems, interfaces and responsible owners
- Sample records and the current manual handoff
- Volumes, timing needs and common failures
Before you begin
Questions about Integrations & automation.
Can Power Automate handle our approval process?
It can coordinate approval requests and responses, but the design needs to account for routing rules, delegates, time limits, exceptions and what happens after the decision. Check the connectors, environment and licensing required for the complete workflow.
Do integrations have to run in real time?
No. Some business tasks need an immediate update; others work well with scheduled batches. Choose based on the business need, supported interfaces, volume and failure handling. Avoid adding real-time complexity where a reliable scheduled exchange is sufficient.
What happens if a connected system is unavailable?
The design should define what is retried, how failures become visible and who owns recovery. Use stable identifiers and reconciliation checks to reduce duplicate or missing transactions. Agree the recovery process before an integration becomes business-critical.
